WebAug 13, 2024 · Can't open an embedded pdf in word 2016. We're trying to embed a series of pdf's into a word 2016 document to send of a client. In word we go to insert > object > adobe acrobat document > ok > browser to the file and we can see the icon on the page. The problem is that when you try to click on the icon, nothing happens.
