WebI learned this the hard way but you literally can’t make good espresso from a light roast. It will always taste sour and be either too fine or choke the machine. I also spent about 10 hours pulling nearly a hundred shots attempting to make a French Vanilla Light roast espresso and it simply doesn’t work.
