WebI've never heard anyone say or write "Dear All." But "Dear Everybody" is odd as well. My advice: Use "Hi Everyone" when being less formal. Use "Dear" when being more formal, although I think dear is rare in email, which is informal by nature. When saying "hi dear," the word "dear" actually has a sort of substantive value, just like "my dear / my darling." So: ciao caro/a = hi (bye) dear. ciao cari/e = hi (bye) dears. But for some reason "dears" doesn't sound all that great, though it's certainly better than "hi dear." I'd probably say:
